Privacy policy

MyFutStats (“we”) keeps league tables and player statistics for recreational football and futsal groups. This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: myfutstats@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID. We do not receive your Google password.
• Player records: the name an organiser enters for you, the matches you played, your team, captaincy and match scores.
• Profile photo: only if you upload one yourself.
• Invites: an email address an organiser enters so you can claim your player profile. It is never shown publicly.
• Referrals: the referral code of the league whose link you opened, saved to your account when you sign in, and which league referred a new league.
• Billing: each league's plan, payment dates and payment notes (such as a bank transfer reference). Card or bank details are never stored.
• Change log: which league member added or changed players, matches or scores, and when.

How we use it

• To sign you in and show the leagues you belong to.
• To calculate and display tables, form, awards and records.
• To link your player profiles across leagues once you claim them.

We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.

Who can see what

• In a public league, anyone with the link can see player names, photos, results and statistics.
• In a private league, only league members can see them.
• Email addresses are visible only to the league's owner and admins, never publicly.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookies keep you signed in. They are needed for the site to work.
• Referral cookie (mfs_ref): when you open a link shared by a league, its referral code is stored for up to 400 days so the right league gets credit if you start your own. It holds only the code.
• We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

• League change logs: 2 months. Billing and admin records: 5 years.
• Deleted players: restorable for 90 days, then removed (past matches show “Former player”).
• League and player data: for as long as the league exists, or until you ask us to delete your personal data.

Where data is stored

Data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in, Singapore region) and the website is hosted by Vercel. Both process data on our behalf.

Your choices

• Edit your display name or photo from your player page.
• If an organiser deletes a player, the profile is hidden at once and can be restored for 90 days; after that it is removed and past matches show “Former player”.
• Ask us to export or delete your account and personal data by emailing myfutstats@gmail.com. Match results stay in league history, shown as “Former player”, so other players' records remain correct.

Children

MyFutStats is intended for people aged 16 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
